Shockwave Therapy (ESWT)

Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy is a fast and highly effective non-surgical treatment which uses high power sound energy waves to help with the healing of your injury. It is becoming a popular alternative to injections and surgery for many muscular conditions due to its non-invasive procedure and minimal side effects.
It is an evidence-based treatment for a wide range of conditions, and it is also backed by the NHS, with many surgeons making this an option for pain relief before surgery.
Shockwave is never provided in isolation – we always combine it with a course of Physiotherapy as we have found this to have the best and fastest results.Â
This also means it is an affordable option as we add on an additional fee to your normal physiotherapy price.
What Shockwave can treat
