Sports Massage caters to your individual requirements.

Pre-Event Massage: This focuses on getting your muscles and mind ready for your event ahead, knowing your muscles are ready to go!
Post Event Massage: This is to work on muscle recovery after physical activity. It helps sore muscles and stiffness, making your recovery quicker and less painful.
Maintenance Massage: This is your regular scheduled massage to keep on top of your muscle and mind health. It reduces injuries and enhances your performance, making you feel better and ready for any event that comes your way.
Rehab Massage – This is best to avoid though regular maintenance massage, but this is when your injured and a targeted massage can help speed up healing.
Deep tissue massage – This option is for anyone who requires a loosen off after a hard day at the office or after digging the garden. It works by breaking up tight knots in the muscles, helping pain from poor posture and exertion. Your therapist can tailor the massage and pressure to your needs.

Many of our clients are part of our Massage Programs where they schedule in their massage ahead of time, they find this is great for their health and performance.

  I was suffering from sciatic nerve pain, back pain and pain in my knees. 4 sessions over the course of a few weeks with Lisa and I was  95% pain free - completing the exercises between sessions built the strength required to support the treatment in the sessions

Lisa used a combination of massage, dry needling and ultra sound (I think 🤷) and managed to get me mobile and virtually niggle free

  I discovered this business through my daughter and on her recommendation, I booked a consultation with Johnny Farrell. The booking system is simple to use, including evening appointments.
Johnny is very personable and thorough, and through his initial tests and checks, he was able to quickly identify the causes with both my back and also my shoulder.
Treatment consisted of massages, stretching , acupuncture, dry needles into the muscles, all of which I might say, were painless. There seemed no end to what he had in his toolbox.
At the end of each appointment he would explain the additional exercises to do at home that would help speed my recovery.
All in all my experience with FMK Physiotherapy was a very positive one and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone

  Highly recommended Johnny for any physiotherapy needs. Convenient evening & Saturday appointments. Johnny has sorted out a problematic shoulder that I've had for many years. He took vast history & created a suitable and do-able exercise program with regular follow up appointments. Plan was tweaked as my muscles & tendons strengthened giving new exercises.  He really knows his stuff! Since then I've been back with hamstring problems & most recently issues with thumb/wrist. Massage, heat therapy & acupuncture has helped massively.
